Isaiah Washington: It's Not What He Said; It's Where He Said It

Because not nearly enough has been said and written about the Isaiah Washington controversy, James Woods added his own take (and it is our sacred duty to pass it along).

Woods, at the TCA press tour to promote the second season of "Shark," suggested that Washington's slur would not have been given a second thought if the "Grey's Anatomy" set had been harmonious.

The "Shark" set is both diverse and happy, Woods said. "We probably make jokes we shouldn't make but everyone gets along." Washington's name-calling only became an issue, he said, because "it seems like that was an uhappy set."

Woods suggested that, contrary to NBC's protestations of innocence, the network quickly added Washington to the cast of new series "Bionic Woman" for the publicity it was sure to generate. "I just feel so many people had an agenda about how to use it," Woods said. "Everybody wanted to exploit it."

It is so odd how a certain sect of people will just not allow you to open your mouth or have a different opinion than theirs, w/o hating on you. If anyone supports a person they have decided to massacre woe betide the perosn who defends the person they have marked for slaughter.
